Realization of Prophetic Visions

Speaks Like a Dragon
John must have listened to some of the things the
technocrats have been saying. He reports that this beast speaks like a dragon.
The dragon speaks lies. But it also quotes truth. That makes it very deceptive.
If it were known that every utterance of the dragon was totally false, who
would be deceived? Satan even quoted scriptural truth when he tried to tempt
Jesus. The dragon also speaks very authoritatively. The serpent is very clever.
Yes, even when telling an outright lie, the statement is made with the voice of
authority. An example of this is the lie which the serpent made Eve believe. He
said, "Ye shall not surely die."
Deception with the sound of authority -- that is
the dragon's language. Therefore, the earth beast would be speaking with authority
while mingling natural truths with false promises and predictions. That is
precisely what the spokesmen for technocracy are now doing. They publish
factual explanations of nature. They develop actual ways of efficiently
utilizing God's creation for man's benefit. But they also promise to solve
man's problems apart from reliance on God. They are saying, in effect, that man
does not need the very One who created all energy and matter. Technocracy
offers itself as the implementer of man's will.
