Realization
of Prophetic Visions

Mark
of the Beast
Revelation 13:16-17 says of
the technocratic beast: "And it is compelling all, the small and great and
rich and poor and free and slaves, in order that they be given an engraving
upon their right hand or upon their forehead; and in order that no one may be
able to buy or sell unless he has the engraving, the name of the wild beast or
the number of its name."
It is truly wonderful to
realize that nineteen centuries ago God showed John the capabilities of science
and technology. But, rather than accepting as truth what John wrote, many
religious educators have tried to explain it all away as unreal symbolism.
However, the acceptance of this vision as a factual and literal prophecy of
future events allows for real answers to the following questions: What is the
engraving or mark? Why is it put on the right hand or the forehead? Why will it
be required in order to buy or sell? The answers are available.
Have you seen the number
coded computer readable markings on packaged goods in the market places? You
will soon be seeing these markings on almost everything being offered for sale.
They identify the product, the manufacturing company, package size, etc. They
are read by electronic scanners which automatically record the information in a
computer. The computer knows the price of each item and tells it to the
register at the check-out counter; all this more swiftly than the fastest
checker could do it manually with an ordinary cash register. The price of any
item can be changed without even remarking the package; the computer is simply
reprogrammed.
There are already some
stores thus equipped, and the technocrats plan to have this system in operation
nation- wide by 1980. Europe will not be far
behind. But, even the stores now using it have not advanced to the ultimate
procedure yet; they still accept cash, check, or credit card. Eventually, these
three mediums of exchange will be obsolete. They can be stolen, lost, forged,
or counterfeited. Technocracy will overcome that problem, for the "good of
the people".
Each person and corporation
will have a computerized credit account. The account will represent the entire
credit value of that legal person. Rather than paying the worker by check, the
employer will have the financial value of the employer's work credited to his
account. Any purchase will be automatically deducted from his credit balance.
Each personal account will
be positively identified by the individual's photograph or right hand print.
Fingerprints and facial photographs have been used for many years for
identification purposes. When they are used as the meatus of identifying the
person's account, there will be no chance for forgery, theft, or accidental
loss of purchasing power.
Depending on certain
factors, either the buyer's photograph or right hand print will be taken and
electronically transmitted to the appropriate computer-bank, along with the
amount of the purchase. This procedure will take less time than the present
cash transactions. The right hand print will no doubt be the ordinary
identifying factor; but for certain persons (such as those who have no right
hand), the face itself will identify the account. Either will be instantly
readable by the computer. The correct accounts involved will be immediately
located and either charged or credited as the case may be.
Before anyone can use his
hand print or his face to buy or sell anything, it will be necessary for his
hand print or face to be registered as the holder of an account. At that time
he will be given a permanent engraving or tattoo on his right hand or forehead.
If the computer does not see this engraving, the handprint or photograph will
be deemed worthless and no sales or purchase will be possible.
