Realization of Prophetic Visions

Lion's Mouth
John also tells us that the beast's mouth is like
a lion's mouth. Naturally, each of the beast's seven heads would have a mouth
for eating and making utterances. And, as will be explained in succeeding
paragraphs, only one of these heads is that of a lion. So John's emphasizing of
the lion's mouth points to the one most obviously used by the beast for feeding
its whole body, John later sees a different mouth doing most of the speaking.
The beast's primary consumer-mouth is that of a
lion. The lion of Daniel's vision being Catholicism, this mouth would represent
Catholic-controlled republics. Do these republics act as the principal
feeding-mouth for democratic civilization? Yes; the lands controlled by
Catholics are very rich in raw materials. From coffee to copper, Catholics
control the ingesting of natural resources into the greedy gullet of the
omnivorous beast.
The majority of the world's proved mineral
resources, other than petroleum, are in Catholic lands. Chief among these is Latin America. An embargo on Latin American minerals
alone, for example, could cause industrial starvation for the U.S.A. Were
that to occur, it would be made painfully apparent that the Catholic republics
act as the feeding-mouth for democracy. The wild beast's mouth is indeed a
mouth of a lion.
